New Guide Troop: Adelwing

Adelwing will be available in the Journey Shop, and will appear in Glory, Gem, Guild, and VIP chests in 3-4 weeks’ time.

Please note the Pathfinder trait is a unique Trait, this means the Trait cannot be stacked with itself, and only one Troop with the Pathfinder trait will apply its bonus in a Journey Event.

New Ultra-Rare Troop: Giant Badger

The Giant Badger will be available this week for 300 Glory in the shop as well as in Event Chests, and will appear in Glory, Gem, and Guild chests in 3-4 weeks’ time.

New Weapon: Badger Blade

This week it will be available in both the Journey shop, and in the Soulforge.

Journey Events Changes

With the new balance changes to the Pathfinder Troops, we have adjusted the level of Journey Event Bosses (which appear every 5 battles). They have changed from 10 levels to 8 levels. This will slow down how fast the battle difficulty increases in the event. This should be about 10% decrease in difficulty. Battles will still give the same amount of Miles as before.

Pathfinder Balance Changes

As we now have more Pathfinder troops released, we have been keeping an eye on some of the emerging play patterns, it’s become clear that they currently have too much reliability with the looping around their Gem creation.

Due to this we are going to make some balance changes to the Pathfinder troops that include Gem creation (Hawthorn + Deathclaw will not be affected by this):

• The base mana cost is increasing from 12 to 15
• The boost ratio for the Gem creation has been reduced from x3 to x2
• The base number of Gems created from 3 to 2

For Shiny versions of some of these troops:

• The boost ratio for the Gem creation has been reduced from x3 to x2
• The base number of Gems created from 4 to 3

This should allow opponents fighting against these troops a chance to counter them, rather than getting stuck watching the troop loop after their first cast.

These changes will apply to the following troops:

• Seekra Darkwood
• Chalcendony
• Todd Greenwood
• Huntmaster Arborius
• Sir Ailuin
• Hippolyta
• Egris

These troops will have a refund offered, but those refunds will only include:

• Souls for the level
• Traitstones for the Traits

If you spent Orbs to level or trait the troops, orbs will not be refunded – Souls and Traitstones will be refunded instead.
Any Medals, or Shiny tokens spent on the Troop will remain in effect, as will any levels of rarity that were obtained from either Orbs or duplicate copies.
