Troop Changes

We have made some changes to a the following troops.

Voice of Orpheus:
We have updated his spell text and the boost damage displayed to correctly reflect the damage he is doing. Previously, it was including his Mana in the calculation by mistake (as that mana is consumed when he would cast his spell).

  • Updated the spell text to reflect that boosted damage is based on Mana from all other Allies.
  • Fixed an issue where his mana was included in the boost ratio.

Eleanor:
Eleanor’s new spell was proving to cause confusion for brand new players, since they use her in the tutorial.
  • Changed her spell so it now destroys 8 random Gems, instead of allowing her to choose the color destroyed
  • Changed her Mana Colors to help new players have a better spread of Mana across their first 4 troops.

The Guardian Dragon
We noticed new players having issues against the Guardian Dragon fights in the tutorial, so we have adjusted his spell to be less brutal in the early game. As he is an early-game-troop only, this change should not affect existing players.
  • Changed the Guardian Dragon’s spell to deal scatter damage instead of AOE damage.

Parrot, Dead Parrot, Frost Archer, and Umbraxis:
We have updated the spell descriptions for these Troops to better reflect the behavior that targets above and below the chosen target (as it doesn’t matter if the troops are directly adjacent, and this is different when compared to how splash damage works).

Eleanor + The Guardian Dragon will have a refund offered, but those refunds will only include:
  • Souls for the level
  • Traitstones for the Traits
If you spent Orbs to level or trait the troops, orbs will not be refunded – Souls and Traitstones will be refunded instead.

Any Medals, or Shiny tokens spent on the Troop will remain in effect, as will any levels of rarity that were obtained from either Orbs or duplicate copies. While the refund is being offered, these 2 troops will not be available in chests.
