New Epic Troop: The Umbral Giant

The Umbral Giant will be available this week for 400 Glory in the shop as well as in Event Chests, and will appear in Glory, Gem, and Guild chests in 3-4 weeks’ time.

World Event: Key to Darkness

There are 6 battles that players can encounter during the event: Zephyros, The Mirror Queen, The Umbral Giant, Umbral Portal, Ishtara, and The Onyx Giant. The battles are randomly chosen, but they all have an equal chance of appearing on the map.

The battle against Ishtara will only appear after the player wins 4 of the other battles. Defeat her to spawn the battle against The Onyx Giant. Once you have defeated him, all battles reset, and you’ll need to fight another 4 battles to spawn Ishtara again.

Scoring
You can find the following rewards for each of the different battles you may encounter.

• Zephyros: 4 Light Power
• The Mirror Queen: 5 Light Power
• The Umbral Giant: 4 Dark Power
• Umbral Portal: 5 Dark Power
• Ishtara: 8 Light Power
• The Onyx Giant: 8 Dark Power

Each Dark Power is worth 10 points, and each Light Power is worth 4 points. As the battles against Zephyros, The Mirror Queen, and Ishtara get harder, they will increase the amount of Light Power they give by 25%. The battles against The Umbral Giant, Umbral Portal and The Onyx Giant will drop a variable number of Dark Power (on average about 1.18x the base amount).
